Just wanted to say thank you for the great music. I am not trying to be cheesy, but your music inspires me. "I was Made" in particular has been a blessing. Thanks for putting out music that inspires hope and make people (at least me) want to live better lives. Thanks.

God i love Pan's Labyrinth....

God i love Pan's Labyrinth. Only watched it recently as well and i was in love. Had tears streaming down my face at the end! Now one of my favourite movies. Also saw Sweeney Todd! Love it. But i'm partial to Burton and Depp! Still i loved all the siniging and everything. And also only watched Donnie Darko last week. Was thoroughly confused after the first time but having watched it twice more, it has also become one of my favourites!

I can definitely relate to this post Foy. I feel that way usually when I've finished a recording but have no new songs written. Your ideas to rejuvenate sound great. Can't wait to hear your new material. SXSW next month and your amazing journey to look forward too.

Don't stay in a hotel though, thats just like touring.

Hey Foy. The life of Pi rocks, i read it on holiday last year. Were you confused about which tale was the reality by the end?
As for putting more tunes up please please please will you include Oklahoma Sundays? I remember the first night you played it at the Rotterdam, the atmosphere was so intense and noone moved throughout. Brilliant!
Oh and while you're at it what about your rendition of Chocolate Jesus??
You know it makes sense!! All the Best. x

I hope you feel more inspired soon Foy! All I can say is that I'm turning more people onto your music every day, so in a tiny way progress is slowly but surely being made in that respect...

Will be really great to see you live again at the Luminaire, I've heard it's one of the best venues in London!

'For This Reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that he would grant you according to the Riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might through his spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.' Ephesians 3:14-19

I hope that this can be as much of an encouragement to you, as your music is to others.

From Donal O'Driscoll...

From Donal O'Driscoll

8 February 2008

Dear Friend of Amnesty,

Amnesty concert
Saturday 8 December

I understand you kindly performed at the above concert at Christchurch Cathedral. Unfortunately, I was not able to be present.

I had been a member of Amnesty up to 20 October 2007, the date of its AGM at the Kingsley Hotel in Cork. Having listened there to the statutory reports of the activities of Amnesty over the previous year, I observed to the Chairperson of the meeting that there was an elephant in the room, but that no-one had adverted to it.

I said that the “elephant” I was referring to, was the radical new policy on abortion which had been adopted by AI. This new policy made the organisation itself a party to the abuse of human rights.

This is no small matter. For a start, how did the organisation now propose to take the life of the unborn child without involving racism, torture and the death penalty?

Furthermore, it will be “using” the millions of people suffering in Darfur, the eastern Congo, Zimbabwe, and Abbeylara, who depend on them, as well as its own volunteers and supporters. Are these people happy with this cashing-in of credibility?

You may not be aware that this radical proposal was not put to the Irish members. I have also asked Amnesty how the Irish representatives actually voted (at Mexico), and with what authority. So far, I have not received any reply.

I would be grateful for any comments you may have.

Yours sincerely,

Donal O’Driscoll
